Vermentino is a relatively new variety to Australia. Widely grown in northwest Italy, it produces an aromatic wine with refreshing acidity. Our 2022 vintage is full flavoured with a combination of stone fruit and citrus fruit flavours. It has an appealing fleshiness that is beautifully balanced by the linear natural acidity, herbaceousness and minerality, which is characteristic of the Orange and Central Ranges region. If you enjoy the freshness and appeal of Sauvignon Blanc, then Vermentino is well worth trying.
