Tamburlaine Preservative Free Sparkling Au Naturel is pale gold in colour with pink highlights, and lively bubbles. The nose is vibrant with effervescent citrus and pink lady apple aromas, and maybe a touch of fennel seed. More lemony citrus and apple/pear flavours on the palate, and although it is quite dry, the acid is not searing, but well balanced with the richness. A lovely textural mouth-feel coming from the lees contact during making. The finish had decent length with some nutty complexity.
